Steven P. Iverson, President/CEO of Iverson Language Associates, Inc., focuses his business on one central theme: providing strategic solutions for managing document translation. “Our clients are companies and organizations that have an ongoing need to communicate business-critical information. Every business relationship begins with a thorough needs analysis to develop customized strategies that help each client achieve short and long-term goals, maximize efficiencies and ensure a positive return on investment.” As President/CEO, Steve is actively involved in Sales and Marketing, and Operations.
Steve graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, where he earned a M.A. in French Literature. After teaching French at the University level, and at the high school and elementary school levels, Steve left the classroom in 1986 to form Iverson Language Associates, Inc. The company initially focused on teaching foreign languages to individuals and business groups, and over the years evolved into the business of translation, desktop publishing, technical writing, and multimedia production. At present, the company consists of the Client Services Group, the Resource Group, the Project Management Group, Sales and Marketing and Operations.
Steve is a past board member of the World Trade Center - Wisconsin, and a founding member of the Association of Language Companies. He also serves as an advisor to the Global Business Resource Center of the University of Wisconsin, and is past Administrator of the Translation Company Division of the American Translators Association. Steve has published several articles on computer assisted
translation tools, techniques in translation, streamlining
workflow, and quality processes, and has given several
presentations on managing document translation.
